The bank has shortlisted approximately 4,00,000 candidates for SBI Clerk mains exam 2017, which is around 20 times of the total vacancies for the mains exam. On the basis of SBI Clerk 2017 prelims result, the candidates will be appearing for the mains paper of SBI clerk 2017 recruitment exam which will be held on June 25 and 26, 2017.
A candidate can access final merit list after the mains examination and final merit will be prepared on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the main examination and the interview taken together.
Steps to download SBI Clerk Call Letter 2017
State Bank of India has activated the link to download call letters for main exams. Only those who clear the prelims are eligible to appear for mains.
Step1: Firstly logged into the official website i.e. www.sbi.co.in
Step2: Find and open ‘Career’ section link visible on webpage.
Step3: Click on to the SBI mains call letter page link given under this section.
Step4: Now enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth for login to access their call letter.
Step5: Candidates who have cleared prelims will be able to see their main exam date, time & location in the call letter.
Step6: Download it and save it for future reference.
Incase you are not able to login in the above call letter page even after entering the correct registration details, you will see the below message: “You have not qualified for the main examination”.
The mains exam of SBI clerk 2017 will be held for 2 hours and 40 minutes duration. The online SBI Clerk 2017 Main Exam will have as many as 190 objective-type questions carrying total marks of 190. The questions will be divided in various sections inclduing General / Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude.
The passing marks in each of the subjects will be decided by SBI on the basis of the overall performance across the competing test-takers taken together to a minimum required score. Candidates are also required to score a minimum percentage of marks in aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates, 5% relaxation available). Minimum percentage marks in aggregate will be decided by the bank depending on the number of candidates appearing in the exam and difficulty level of questions.
